Registration

Canadian Group Insurance Brokers Inc. (CGIB) offers events and seminars that are charged based on a per person registration fee. Applicable taxes apply. The fee amounts are based on the date of the registration receipt with full payment at Canadian Group Insurance Brokers Inc. If early bird discounts are applicable, registrations and payment must be received at Canadian Group Insurance Brokers Inc. by the last day of the discount timeframe as noted. Should payment be received after the indicated deadlines, the regular (higher) registration fee will apply. Registration fees include: breakfast or seminar participation and documentation as applicable, and a meal if or as indicated and where applicable.

Payment

Payment for registration or membership fees must accompany the online registration form. Registrations received without payment will not be processed or confirmed. Payment is accepted via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) only.

Cancellation policy

Canadian Group Insurance Brokers Inc. requires that the online booking be cancelled by the same method and will be subject to the following conditions:
Cancellations of event registrations received greater than 48 hours prior to the event will be refunded with a deduction of a $25 administration fee.

No event registration fee refunds will be issued for cancellations received 48 hours or less prior to the event.
No refunds will be issued for memberships once paid and received. A one time per membership year request may be made to substitute another suitable person at no cost upon approval by CGIB. Such changes must be communicated via email to info@cgib.ca.

Name changes

Registered participants who are unable to attend an event may nominate a suitable substitute participant by notifying Canadian Group Insurance Brokers Inc. in writing at the latest 3 business days prior to the event. Such changes must be communicated via email to info@cgib.ca. Changes are no longer possible and are treated as cancellation(s) if received less than 48 hours prior to the event as indicated in the paragraph above.

Canadian Group Insurance Brokers Inc. cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any property, whatever the cause may be. Should, for any reason, the venue or speakers change, or the event be cancelled, Canadian Group Insurance Brokers Inc. will endeavour to reschedule the workshop, but shall not be held responsible for any costs, damages, or expenses incurred by registrants beyond those fees collected as a registration fee for the workshop.
