CGIB will be entering into partnership with BENEFITS BY DESIGN (BBD) to offer our members unique hybrid group insurance product beginning September 1st, 2021
The CGIB/BBD Benaccount product is a hybrid that can provide your clients with traditional group insurance coverage for Life, AD&D, Dependant Life, and Catastrophic Health Care (including; drugs over $1,000, travel and hospital). The non "insurance" items such as dental, vision, paramedicals, orthotics and so on, can be paid for by spousal plans, or by the Health Spending Account usually tasked for this purpose.
The plans pooled health coverage will have transparency with the premium and claims of the pool being reported on each renewal. Advisors will not receive specific claims for each client. Average annual increases are expected to be approximately 4 to 5%, providing great client rate stability and removing the volatility that often comes with plans such as this.
