Canadian Group Insurance Brokers (CGIB) has a sponsorship opportunity that will allow you to do just that.
We have been running educational events for over 16 years. Our full day seminars routinely see over 150 attendees in Toronto (we have reached a high of 300!) and 50 to 75 in Vancouver and Calgary.
Our workshops are very interactive and are geared to a smaller audience of 40 to 60 attendees.
Our goal is to be the “go-to” event for benefit advisors from coast to coast. Our past events have been extremely well received and most sponsors return to support us year after year. This is your opportunity to get your business in front of those who matter!
Our target audience for our events are individuals who specialize in employee benefits. Our meetings encourage open discussions and audience participation. Attendees want to be present and are truly interested in the information being shared.
Event sponsorship gives you a very affordable opportunity to promote your business with little additional work – you simply need to be there.

2027 Sponsorship Packages 150-175+ attendees
Gold Sponsorship: $6,500 + HST
This is our highest level of sponsorship and allows you to do the following:
- Supply attendees with handout (brochures, business cards etc.) directly on tables and at side table
- Introduce the morning OR afternoon speaker
- Provide a brief 20-minute overview of your business (or 2 opportunities for 10 minutes each time)
- Have your logo and website link located on the CGIB website and e-mail event updates
- Display your banner or signage at the event
- Invite 3 staff to attend the event at no additional charge providing them with an opportunity to network with attendees
Silver Sponsorship: $4,500 + HST
This level of sponsorship allows you to do the following:
- Supply attendees with handouts (brochures, business cards etc.) at side table
- Introduce the morning OR afternoon break
- Provide a brief 5–10-minute overview of your business
- Have your logo and website link located on the CGIB website and e-mail event updates
- Display your banner or signage at the event
- Invite 2 staff to attend the event at no additional charge providing them with an opportunity to network with attendees
Bronze Sponsorship: $2,500 + HST
This level of sponsorship allows you to do the following:
- Supply attendees with handouts (brochures, business cards etc.) at side table
- Have your logo and link located on the CGIB website and e-mail event updates
- Invite 1 staff to attend the event at no additional charge providing them with an opportunity to network with attendees
At all levels of sponsorship, we will handle:
- All venue arrangements (bookings, payment, room coordination, hot breakfast, coffee, lunch AV equipment etc.)
- Event payments (credit card processing), sign in
- Promotion of the event
- CE certificate production and distribution

SPONSORSHIP RULES
1. Members will be alerted of sponsorship opportunities in Mid-December. The sponsorships will be granted on a first come, first serve basis based on the time and date the potential sponsors e-mail is received by CGIB.
2. In order to allow us to profile more organizations, an organization can sponsor a maximum of 3 events. The only exception to this is if all other sponsorship opportunities do not sell out.
3. An organization can only take one sponsorship at each event. For example, you can NOT take both GOLD and SILVER or GOLD and BRONZE at the same event.
4. NON-CGIB member requests for sponsorship will not be considered until one month following the initial e-mail communication to ensure that all CGIB members are given the opportunity for sponsorship first.
