Atlantic Canada Meeting

The Atlantic Canada breakfast meeting is on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.(AST). The meeting runs to. Attendance Maximum: 25 people.

The Atlantic Region Group Benefit Virtual Breakfast meeting is for plan advisors, TPA’s, and insurers to meet once a month to have an open and transparent dialogue to discuss all relevant employee benefit matters. Whether you are a seasoned vet, or a newbie to the industry this is worth 2 hours a month to better your knowledge. Together we can elevate each other, our profession and better support our clients.

We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 8am via Zoom. Participation is capped at 25 so register early.

The rules are simple:

  • Register for the event
  • Email a question or topic of discussion in advance  (to help facilitate discussion)
  • For advisors, this forum is to share ideas, educate each other and discuss various points of view related to benefits, products, carriers etc. There are no dumb questions, it’s a safe place to learn.
  • For TPA & Insurers, this is not a forum for you to sell your products or services. (special events or in-person meetings will provide opportunity for sponsorship / guest speakers)
  • Products and services can be discussed in general terms. Supporting advisors or providing insight are your key motives for participating.
  • Have an open mind to new ideas, concepts and perspectives…

Ajax Meeting

The Ajax breakfast meeting is on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:00 am. The meeting runs as long as people wish to stay (usually around 10:00 am). Attendance Maximum: 24 people. No membership or fixed food cost, and your cost is whatever you order off their menu. We have also allowed insurance carriers/ suppliers to do a brief presentation. This has been well received by all.

Cambridge Meeting

The Cambridge/Ayr breakfast meeting is on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:00 am. The meeting runs as long as people wish to stay (usually around 10:00 am). Attendance Maximum: 24 people. Your cost is whatever you order off their menu. We have allowed insurance carriers/ suppliers to do a brief presentation. We form an agenda based on your questions, experiences, issues or concerns submitted prior to the event.

The Markham breakfast meeting is on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8:00 am. The meeting runs as long as people wish to stay (usually around 10:00 am). Attendance Maximum: 24 people.
Your cost is $20. Insurance carriers/suppliers may do a brief presentation. We form an agenda based on your questions, experiences, issues or concerns submitted prior to the event.
